Los Cabos (The Capes) is the area at the very end of the Baja California peninsula. The isolated fishing camps that a few years ago catered to a handful of visitors who came in their own planes or yachts, are now among the luxury hotels that dot the coast around the two towns: San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The Los Cabos area has in recent years become a golfers’ mecca, offering seven deluxe courses to choose from; fishing is another big lure for Los Cabos. Many of the Cabo San Lucas hotels have their own fishing fleets; the primary quarry of the offshore cruiser fleet is marlin. With a vibrant nightlife, excellent shopping, water sports, Los Cabos has many choices of several activities.
